At the end of the 19th century, a special cigar format was very popular: the torpedo.
It represents a speciality among the Figurados. These are cigar shapes that do not have a cylindrical shape throughout, but have the shape of a pyramid. However, for a long time there were only a few cigar rollers who understood this art; double figurados are the pinnacle of the art of cigar making.
Since 1996, almost a century later, in the Romeo y Julieta factory, where the Cuaba are made, this old tradition has fortunately been restored.
They show a very subtle and appealing "Romeo"-typical "juicy", but creamy fruit sweetness with a woody roasted tobacco taste, but are milder than the Romeo y Julieta.
All formats contain tobacco blends from the Vuelta Abajo region and are 'totalmente a mano, tripa larga' - completely handmade long fillers.
Cuaba Distinguidos creamy and slightly sweetish-delicate, a quite rare specimen - very beautiful. Strength 2 of 5. A Perfecto format. |
