History of the brand
Fonseca

Don Francisco Fonseca founded his brand between 1890 and 1900. He himself was a handsome man who attached great importance to appearance and transferred this elegant precision to his cigars, which he had individually wrapped in tissue paper - a tradition that continues today in the four formats of the brand that bears his name.

Character of the Fonseca cigar

The mild blends of Fonsecas with tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region make them ideal cigars after light meals.

All Fonseca formats are 'totalmente a mano' - completely handmade, with three 'tripa larga' i.e. with a long inlay and one 'tripa corta' i.e. with a short inlay.
