The name Piedra already had a good reputation at the end of the 19th century: the brand was founded in 1880 by the immigrant Spanish brothers Vincente and José Lamadrid Piedra in today's Santi Spíritus province. Reborn after the Cuban Revolution, the brand was unfortunately forgotten until it was repositioned a few years ago.
The remarkable thing about José L. Piedra is that the leaves used come exclusively from the tobacco growing region of Vuelta Arriba.
Jose L. Piedra are affordable cigars; robust, appreciated for their strong flavour and quite tannic. So you should bring some experience with you.
All six formats of José L. Piedra are produced using the traditional 'totalmente a mano, tripa corta' process - completely handmade short fillers.
Affordable cigars from Cuba.
